Soul Reaver ( Scary

Yes, it's a Tomb Raider clone, but
it was developed by the same people who made it so who cares? The main appeal of this game
is you can't die. Yes, you heard me right. Mr Grim Reaper makes few appearances. (Well
apart from your enemy's demise) Also Raziel (Main Character) can morph between world,
sometimes essential to proceed. Raziel is a ghost vampire who needs souls to survive in
the material world (Real world, peeps. Try to keep up...) and when he runs out of energy
he enters the spectral world. (Ghosty world...) Each world has differant enemies and
vampires in the real world need to be killed in a certain way, be it impaling, burning
(which IS fun), throwing them in water, sticking them to fixed spikes or dancing and
miming to the latest Britney Speirs Single. Also you learn new skills from each boss you
kill and the game is totally non linear. You'll find yourself crossing the same areas more
than once and solving plenty of puzzles. This game is far more action packed than Tomb
Raider but wasn't successful because the main character does have 54 ZZ boobs. I would
urge anybody to buy this because it's better than most 3rd person adventure games, good
design of characters, story and environment and most importantly, it's dirt cheap. I
picked up a pc copy for £9.99 and I think the playstation is much the same.
