Rules & Regulations

To join in the fun, simply fill in the form and then play the game. Games included are part of the EA F1 franchise on PC, PSX or PS2. (F1 2000, F1 Championship Season 2000) Additional versions will be added at the discretion of the contest organisers.

The aim of the contest is to obtain the quickest lap time. (Grand Prix mode only, not Quick race or any other variation) Lap times may be submitted from Practice, Qualifying, Warm up, Race or any other mode that gives a valid timed lap. Times measured and displayed by the system will be the only ones accepted.

Each competitor Must use the same driver and car as everyone else for a particular race.

The driver for a race will be selected by the winner of the previous race and must be selected within 3 days of the previous results being published.

If a driver has not been selected within the 3-day period, the winner of the actual Grand prix for that race will then be the default driver.

Selected tracks will be those of actual F1 Grand Prix just completed and will continue to be so until the start of the next actual F1 Grand Prix.

No Shortcuts are allowed (i.e. No cutting across tarmac escape roads, gravel traps or grass areas)

Any Set-up is allowed

Any results received after the date and time specified are accepted at our discretion. Late submissions may receive a penalty.

Any one suspected of cheating will be removed from the list immediately.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel or dismiss the contest at any time.

From Spain the 107 % qualifying rule will be used, therefore anyone who has a time outside 107 % of the winning time will not have qualified to enter that round and will suffer a penalty of 2 points. ( If the real F1 can change so can we )

No Times will be accepted unless a valid password has been provided, therefore a password reminder has been set up and will be in use from Spain.
